Attention 8th graders: Are you curious about what is offered at the Mecosta/Osceola Career Center? The Michigan Works! Youth Program is offering a 2-week “Career Exploration and Employability Skills” summer camp just for you! It will be held July 16 – July 26 (Monday through Thursday) from 10am to 2pm for kids ages 14-16. Applications are in the office. Deadline is June 8. Limited space is available, first come first served! Cran Hill Ranch Day Camp 2012 registration forms are in the office for kids ages 7-13 for a new lower price….$99, or you can register online at www.daycamp.cranhillranch.com or call 231-796-7669. Also, there is a savings coupon for $175 off any week of summer camp for first time campers or $125 off any week for returning campers. To receive your discount make sure you type “Overnight Discount” in the coupon code when registering online at www.summercamp.cranhillranch.com . Stepping Stones Learning Center of Big Rapids flyers for their Summer Explorer Program are in the office for kids ages 5-12. There are new and exciting changes in programming and schedule this year. New activities include Zumba, soccer, child centered interest groups and old favorites like the community pool and field trips to the library, FSU campus, and Dairy Queen. Students will be given the opportunity visit classrooms, tour the school, and ask questions about what to expect as 9th graders. (12:30p.m. - 2:30p.m.)(This is a date change from May 24th.)
Rose Lake Youth Camp for 2012 begins July 8th and runs through August 10th for kids ages 4 to 14. Registration can be done online at www.roselakeyouthcamp.org or you can call 231-768-4351.
It is time once again to start recruiting Detasselers for the summer. You must be at least 13 years old when work begins, which is typically the beginning of July. Please stop in the office for the green card and informational pamphlet. (You can also apply online at www.pioneer.com/summerjob .)
DO YOU HAVE TALENT?? Show it off at the teen talent show festival, Friday, August 17 at 7:00pm in the Reed City High School Cafeteria. You must be between the ages of 13 – 19. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. You must register by August 10. Stop in the office for a registration form.
ARTWORKS 2012 Nature Expressions Summer Camp registration forms are in the office. Artworks will provide a 3-day summer art camp program spanning five weeks. It will be open to kids ages 7-14.
Our school is participating in the Labels for Education program. We can collect UPC’s and beverage caps from participating products to earn points that can be redeemed for FREE educational merchandise that includes art, education and fitness! Just send the labels with your students to school. They can drop them off in the BRMS Office, or in their classrooms with the Box Top collection. Thanks for your support!! 2012 Cardinal Camp Summer Youth Basketball registration forms are in the office. It will be at the High School June 11 through June 14 from 9:00 – 10:30 for K-4th and 10:30 – 12:00 for 5th-8th. The cost is $35.00. Registration deadline is June 8, 2012.

FSU will be hosting a Boys Basketball Individual Skills Camp June 18-20 from 9:00am to 12:00pm for boys grades 3-8. The cost is $50. There are registration forms in the office.
